We were approached to help redesign the Smurfs Bubble Story UI to match closer to the famous brand and exciting game.
We wanted the burst of colors to come from the Smurfs themselves. Therefore we relied on the natural wood material to frame each scene in a neutral manner.
We wanted to be sure that we leveraged different textures and colors to keep the UI looking fun and light.
We wanted to ensure the changed we created were impactful for a game that needed to remain minimal with their UI assets. By using natural brush stokes and curved shapes, we were able to loosen the overall UI to not look as rigid as it did previously.
